Brass & Bone
Brass and Bone was never just an idea — it was a lifetime in the making.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been chasing stories hidden in flea markets, antique shops, and thrift stores. Every piece called out with a whisper of its past life, waiting to be found, cherished, and brought into the light again. Over time, my home filled with treasures — finds too beautiful, too strange, too full of soul to leave behind — and I realized I wasn’t just collecting things. I was curating moments, histories, and second chances.
For years, the idea of creating a space for these finds lived quietly in the back of my mind. It wasn’t until a conversation with a kindred spirit at Apples & Dumplins that the seed finally took root. They told me, "You should have a booth. You were made for this."
And deep down, I knew they were right.
Brass and Bone was born out of that moment — a place where the old, the wild, the beautiful, and the forgotten find new homes. It's my way of honoring the art of transformation: giving forgotten things new stories, creating beauty from the bones of the past, and building a business that feels less like commerce and more like connection.
Here, you'll find a carefully curated collection of antiques, handmade creations, and soulful objects — each chosen or crafted with intention. Some pieces are unearthed from dusty corners of the world. Some are made by hand in small, reverent batches. All are infused with a spirit of wonder, rebirth, and quiet rebellion against the disposable world.
Thank you for being here.
Whether you're searching for something special, dreaming up a custom creation, or just wandering through — you're part of the story now.
Welcome to Brass and Bone. Where every piece has a past, and every find is a future waiting to be written.
The Girl Behind the Dust
Once upon a time, I was married—and then I wasn’t. By 23, I had traded in wedding china for chipped enamelware, sparkly rings for tarnished brass, and found my way back to myself through curiosity, cats, and old things with stories.
By day, I’m an electric motor expert and COO of a manufacturing business (yes, really—feel free to peek at my double life over on LinkedIn). By night and weekend, I’m elbows-deep in estate sales, candle wax, and curating the oddest little corners of the South for Brass & Bone.
This shop was born from everything I love: character-filled objects, forgotten histories, and the strange thrill of giving something its first home again. Whether it’s a retro sign that makes you laugh-snort or a Victorian trinket box whispering “keep me,” I’m here to pass it on.
Thanks for stepping into the story. Stay weird. Pet your cat. Light the candle.
